Samsung Galaxy S4 mini — Re: Power button won't properly put phone to sleep

Hello all,

When I press the button on the side - is it the power button? - the phone lights up the icons at the bottom and turns off the screen. But a second later the screen pops back on. I have to repeat this between 5 and 20times before the screens turns off/stays off - I know when it will because the icons at the bottom of the phone remain unlit.

Any suggestions? The phone is not rooted. I don't have many apps. I use the phone mostly to make phone calls and whatsapp messages.
