Phone randomly unlocked and took a photo...?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running android 7.0
It randomly unlocked and took a photo without me touching it at all. it happened today and i looked through my previous photos and it had happened two days ago aswel.

My only concern really is could it be a hacker or something trying to get information through the camera?

Question Did you down load any apps from third party source not the play store?

Yes. I downloaded a streaming app called 'cartoon hd' maybe 3 weeks ago.

That may be the source did you give access to all your files like most free apps ask for? If yes you may need to do a factory rest on your phone to get rid of it. You can try deleting the app and see if the behavior stops if not do the reset.

It really looks like it is hacked and your pictures are going to somebody.
You can try to backup your data and do factory reset. And then very carefully install your apps and check for apps permissions.
Seems like one of your apps is a malware
