---The best method to take notes is fast and simple.
It's best to answer that question in two parts: the tool and the method to use.
It's not so important what tool you use as long it enables you to take note whenever and whereever. I use a small notebook (not bigger than three to four inch) and a small pen. I carry this with me all the time to be able to take notes about everything I find interesting in every situation. Back at home I transfer these notes in a more powerful note taking software, like MixNote. Here, too, it's not important which software it is, but it has to have three features:
1. Making notes should be fast and simple.
2. You should be able to organize your notes by putting them in sections and subsection and making Links between note pages.You can use Tags in MixNote.
3. It has to have a powerful search.
