Hello,
I plan to launch an app on Google Play store and use a 3rd party payment gateway to charge customers a monthly fee for different plans.
Depending on the plan that a user selects, we provide the users :
1. Certain features in the app
2. Certain features in our web portal, completely outside the app
3. Our deployment staff going and visiting the user's location and providing training and setup services.
4. For some plans I will be delivering a physical device to user's locations (a POS machine to accept card payments)
I am aware of the exceptions that Google play allows for using 3rd party payment gateway as opposed to Google's in-app billing API.
Can someone please verify if my business qualifies as being those exceptional cases where it is OK to use 3rd party payment gateway?
- The last thing I want is for my app to be blacklisted by Google after I've published it.
