When I used the messaging app that came with my phone, all of the message data was stored on my SIM, and I could then find out what phone numbers I messaged and what time the message was sent. I don't want this to happen, so I switched to Whatsapp. However, I still don't know if Whatsapp will save that same data to my SIM or not. I have heard that it is privacy-based, so I thought it would, but I'm still not sure.
