Automatically Joining a Group After Installation?

Hi there,

Some people in a class formed a what'sapp group for our coursework and I didn't have it installed at the time.

I was told that after I installed it I would be automatically added to the group. I did so when I got home, however, nothing has happened (app installed fine but I don't seem to be in the group).

I'm now not sure if my number was written down incorrectly or if the admin just needs to add me manually and hasn't done so yet.

Unfortunately I do not have anyone's phone number or email address so need to connect through the app.

Any info is greatly appreciated.
