problem for WhatsApp apps of Xiaomi MI6

i am having problem for WhatsApp apps of Xiaomi MI6 mobile. the open WhatsApp apps then blank or hang and after same time show error message come to "WhatsApp is not responding wait or Ok . many time wait option tap and long time waiting . please help me... please please help.

Uninstall your Whatsapp, and get the latest Whatsapp package installer from Google Play or the official website of Whatsapp.

As the app updates and you do not upgrade to the latest version of Whatsapp, this may happen. However, in some rare cases, such problems may not be sorted so easily.
