My app calculates geometric properties of steel shapes (e.g. a cross-section of a steel beam) and I now want to produce a plot of the user selected shape based on the section dimensions entered by the user.
I have looked on the net but am having difficulty in finding any references to this type of plotting. I have seen references to Canvas but no practical examples.
Where would I start looking?
What is the best approach to drawing a scaled shape?
