Dear All,

I am new to app development, as well as coding. I will be using youtube, internet + this forum to learn coding.

I thought of developing an app that can track my family. I know there are apps available in the play store for doing so, but I thought this myself so I will learn faster and be focused on completing this.

I constructed a virtual blueprint and hope to work its way upwards on the due course. Geeks, kindly chip in your valuable thoughts on how to create the app, the basics or the blue print and also, if possible refer articles/ videos. This will definitely help me finish my project at the earliest date.

Thanks,
AKR:)

I think you maybe need to develop at least 2 apps: one will be installed on destination mobiles and will log the locations on Google map while another one will be a management console for you. The first app also should periodically upload location info to a server.

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
The minimalist app available on Play Store: https://goo.gl/ws42fN
