Is my whatsapp is secured?

I have been added to a group which doesn't have any member without me and even the group creator wasn't their. But the group creater's number is their to be appear.
While I was online suddenly whatsapp started to behave abnormally and stopped respond. But I could troubleshoot that. But after that I saw that I have been added to a group with an unknown subject. I have a doubt about this. Has my account or phone been hacked by someone?. There is no sign about the group creator has left the group. But that person isn't in the group. What should I do? . Is this a work with any offensive intention? :? :O

But don't worry about that. Just leave away from the group chat.

Two-Step Verification allows you to add an extra level of security to your WhatsApp account, which will exponentially increase your security level. To enable it, go to the Account menu and select two-step verification. You can then add a 6-digit code, whuch you will need to be input any time WhatsApp is verified on a new phone. As well as this, you can also set up an alternative email address so WhatsApp can send you a link if this feature is ever deactivated.
