As the screenshot below, I wonder what the 'Other' section on my android device means at all?

The 'Other' section on my device takes up so much space (5.23GB). (danger)
What can I do to clean up it? (lightbulb)

Others is usually contains app data and system files both temp and permanent .

You can check specifically by going -" Android obb / android" or" android data/ Android" in your files app ( remember to set show hidden files ).

Besides, you can use the third-party applications to clean up space. Like Free File Manager in blue icon.

After reading your post I went into my internal storage, and opened hidden files.
And I found a lot of files that have been created by my activities. But those files had nothing in them! So I deleted every one of them with no I'll effects to my device ! And I got back all my free storage that unexplainably disappeared.
Theroy; These files are created by your activity and despite the fact that you deleted your cashed data the empty file still remains taking up your free storage.
Now you have a different phone then I do! So you might try to delete a couple of them at first and see what happends.
I deleted them all! And got back the free storage that disappeared for no reason!
