I keep getting audio warnings!
1. Warning your memory storage is getting extremely low.
But when I open device manager, I am only using 1.4 gygabytes of memory out of 4???
2. Warning your video player needs updated immediately.
But their is no update to install!
I'm not even sure what the function of this app is!
And I have no problem watching any video on the internet!
So just what exactly is this video player app?
Can anyone tell me what on earth is going on with my new unlocked galaxy s7.

Hi Lindsay

First your 4 gigs is your RAM not your storage, which is 64gigs. Your storage is what is running low to get that message. Do you have a MicroSD card?
Your second issue is similar to a message I get occasionally from google apps I have disabled. I will get message either " this app has stopped working or This app needs updating" even though they are disabled. You might be getting that message from a disabled app or one that was disabled by your service provider in leu of there own app. This might have been triggered because you unlocked your phone.
Just some thoughts on the topic let me know if it helped.

That 4 gygabytes I mention is in my Device Manager under the heading of Memory.
No microSD card !
I purchased the phone unlocked!
I am on a pre-paid plan with my carrier.
So my carrier didn't add any of thier programming to my phone!

But I did disable Google play movies&TV.

I still want to know exactly what this video player app is for.
Is it used for watching video's from the phone signal to a smart TV?
Or something else?
And where do these audio warnings come from?

Memory is your RAM which your phone uses to operate not your storage. You need to look at storage and see what you using, that is where the low storage message will come from. I disabled the google play movie & tv also and that is what gives me occasional message. Mine are not audio but I have that function turned off too.

Would turning off my voice assistance also shut down my Google voice search?
And where do I find this voice assistance setting?
I found it in my apps but it dosen't give me the option to disable.

Go to settings, go to google services, go to search, assistance & voice. That is where the setting are, and yes it will turn of your voice search which I do not like or use.

Your Google settings must be different than mine.
I couldn't find the voice controls in my Google settings.
