Whatsapp no longer makes a backup

Since November 28, 2018 whatsapp no longer makes automatic / manual backup.
Not to the local storage but also not to google drive.
The storage google drive still needs to be +/- 13gb.
Internet / wifi works.

I need a backup because my mobile is about to stop and I want to go over to my new mobile.

Whatsapp itself gives no response at all and mobile phone stores can not help me.

My hope is drawn to you, can someone help me or indicate if there is another way, via app o.i.d. , to make a backup of the last chat history.

Thank you for your response and tip. Do you have third party app parties that you can recommend me to back up Whatsapp chats?

And can these apps also easily import the chat on the new mobile?
