on my s9 I have samsung members app(pre installed) device maintenance (pre installed) and sd maid pro which I had on previous phones, they all have optimizing/ cleaning, deleating data,files ECT ECT but do i really need all 3? which 1 do you think is best at doing it's job? which ones should I get rid off?

The apps you mention that are preinstalled may be vital systems operating apps. If so, you should not uninstall them! It could cause problems with the rest of your software!
Find those apps in your settings under all apps. See If you have the option to uninstall or disable them thier!
If not I would keep them and get rid of the apps that you installed yourself!
