Redmi 4 : Slow Charging when connected to laptop USB port

I am having my Xiaomi Redmi 4 phone working fine. Recently I found that while connected to my laptop usb port, It charges very slowly. What might be the problem? Does anyone had the same situation?

Sounds normal to me!
You are charging one device through another, so the electricity is traveling a longer distance and encountering more resistance!
Yes it's going to take a little longer to charge up!
