Motorola Moto G — 4g only connected when connected to WiFi

Hi there,

I'm having trouble connecting to data. Only when connected to internet/WiFi will the 4g sign appear. As soon as WiFi is off, the 4g bar disappears and connection is lost (I can call). I've already reset all networks and done a factory reset. Still no luck.

Any tips?

What device are you using? is your data turned on or just Wi-Fi?

You should call your mobile signal carrier and inquire about this.
There are a few different reasons why this could happen.
They may instruct you to reset your PRL
If you haven't done it yet.

Hi, I have the Motorola G4 and I have never seen the 4G light up. I have seen the 3G light up but only occasionally and only for around 5 seconds.
