Upgrade from KitKat 4.4.2 to Android 5.0 or higher

Hello,

I have a Polaroid Q7 (or P7/PTAB740/PTAB741) tablet. Specs can be found on whatismyphone(dot)com/vendors/polaroid/p7-q7-ptab740-ptab741.

This tablet information is hard to find on Google to upgrade it to any Android ver. 5.0 or higher. It is currently running KitKat 4.4.2 and there isn't an update/upgrade for it via Online Update on the device.

I didn't want to take the chance of "bricking" it, so any ideas on how to upgrade this tablet for a newer Android OS of 5.0 or higher?

Maybe you will have to contact the manufacturer for help if there is not an update available via Settings > About > System software > Check updating.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. It has 4.4.2 android kit kat. I can't update my device to 5.0+. Please Help!
