hi,
I want to update my android to the latest version but my LG mobile is not getting updated to the latest Android software which on 18 may 2019 is android 9, even I have pressed the update button in mobile settings, and also have enabled auto-update in settings.
my android version is 6.
is it possible to solve this problem or is it unnecessary to update.

Unfortunately, there is no official update for your phone but you can install custom ROM

Why am I unfortunate, it's only the LG settings that's not working.

I think your mobile didn't receive a new official update from your brand. You need to check the version of your mobile brand's official website.

As sanjai told you there is no official update, but i encourage you to install a custom ROM you will get all the improvements android had made these years.

Rebooting LG does not solve the problem of updating.
