What's the difference about Viber from different sources?

As we know, we can get Viber Messenger from Google Play.

But in addition, we can also directly download an apk from the official Viber website.
Its file name is ViberAndroid-9.6.5.5.apk.
The web address is " https://www.viber.com/download-andriod-update/ ".

So, I wonder what is the difference about Viber between the two editions from different downloading sources.

I think there are no differences, two sources are official and have the same content

Yes, there is not a difference. The play store is to let you download it easily by gathering important apps in the same place. Otherwise, you have to search for it and download it. The official site and play store will be safe but other resources might be harmful. That's the main differences I can think of.

The only difference I found at last is that the edition available on Google Play is V10.7.0.4 while the one on the official website is V9.6.5.5. (smug)
