i have down loaded 'whatsapp' to my phone Lenove a880 (and my
pc) but need help to get it going, i am totally lost, out of my comfort
zone and fed up

Just install it first to your phone and it should guide you trough the process and fetch the contacts on your phone that are also on whatsapp automatically. Done this you can make calls and start chats or invite people.After that install it on the pc and open it . It will ask you to scan a code on your phone (and will explain you how to do it) to link your pc and your phone. After that you will be able to do on your pc exactly the same things that you do on your phone.
