Location error/possible hack

Hello all
I am new to this site, and thank you for reading my post. I am having an issue with my phone...it is a samsung s8, and I live in NJ, however all of my apps say I am in Memphos TN when I do not use Wifi...if I do use wifi, the location is correct. I called my cellphone company, and they confirmed that my towers are in my current city. I am wondering if my phone signal is being intercepted and that is why it states Memphis TN. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Go through the apps installed on your device to check whether there is any one like a fake GPS location app.
As we know, these apps can set up fake GPS location so every other app in your phone believes you are there.
