How do I connect with someone I unblocked

I recently blocked a friend and unblocked them. We have sent messages back and forth since then but this person does not show up in my connections now. how do I make them a connection again without refriending them on fb?

The person does not show up in my messenger contacts/connection list in my story settings...nor do we see when one another is active or last active. This person has their active status on as do i.
We have exchanged messages numerous times

Then I would back up, uninstall and reinstall whats app.

That's easy. just find their profile on fb and then send them a pm, as in, a private message. If you've texted them in the past on fb, they should already be in your messenger tab if you're on facebook desktop and somewhere down the order if you're using the messenger app on your phone.

I think this question should be more clear and concise, which platform they want to unblock Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, snap chat or any other paltform
