I've looked through several ways to extract APK files from Google Play on the internet but most of which require to download another app like Es File or APK Extractor, etc. So I wonder whether there're any other methods to extract the APK files directly from Google Play without rooting phones or downloading apps. Thanks in advance.

Do not download from Google. There are other sites to download just the apk that you are supposed to sideload later. Try aptoide but there is a ton of sites

You can also download Google files from YouTube without installing apk apps thereby allowing you to use Google apps directly from Google Play Store, it works on my Android tablet without any problems, two eco systems in one However aptoid has free apps that you may have to pay for on Google Play Store and also they would not have do to conflict of interest. Research and you can have all your apps working on your device

If you just want to get APK files directly without rooting phones or downloading apps, why not to try those well-known apk distributing websites such as apkpure and aptoide? (smug)

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.
The minimalist app available on Play Store: https://goo.gl/ws42fN
