Start from the official Android Developer Network, https://developers.android.com.
There are so many documents, guides, samples, tutorials, as well as the Android SDK for app developers.

I would advise starting with Java. Also useful would be Kotlin, C / C ++.

By the way, if you need a remote control, I recommend buying it here www.pulti.ua/blog/obzor-wechip-w2 , I took it myself because it came to the TV set, but you can choose different ones, the main thing is that they really give a big guarantee and the remote controls will actually serve you faithfully for many years, therefore, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with it.

If you're already at least a bit familiar with programming, I recommend to think of an idea of the app, (could be very simple), and with help of any Android tutorial, just start coding your app :) Best way to learn is by practice.

If you don't know nothing about programming, spend some time on basics first. Pick a common language like C++/Java and grab some tutorials. Then go to step one ;)
