Why does my screen display spontaneously turns black then turns back to normal after a while?

My Redmi Note 7 was submerged in a pail of water so I had to dry it for a few days. I opened it and it worked great for a while but after a few hours, the screen went black. I had to wait for a couple of hours before it turns back to normal. The same thing repeats again. What could possibly cause this?

This is because your mobile phone hasn't completely dried. The circuit system of your mobile phone conflicts with your screen. Dry it for a few days and try to turn it on. Don't play it, just pull the battery and don't shut down normally, otherwise you will damage the motherboard , The phone had to be invalidated.
