I am upgrading from a LG G6 mobile phone to a LG v40 model.
I intend to use the same SIM card and micro sd card currently installed in the LG G6 in the LG v40.
Do I take the SIM card and micro sd card out of the LG G6 and install the same SIM card and micro sd card into the new LG v40 before I use the LG Mobile Switch function??

My suggestion is taking backup of your LG G6 mobile phone before doing that. You can transfer all data on your LG G6 mobile phone to computer for backup by using the free backup function of Coolmuster Android Backup Manager.
