When a particular smartphone is about to hit the market, you can be sure that leaks concerning it will be revealed far earlier to whet one’s appetite, and the same can be said of the HTC One Max, with its latest leak hailing from China, depicting that this particular smartphone from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC will run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean alongside HTC Sense 5.5 right out of the box. Apart from that, there is also a suggestion that the HTC One Max will not ship with a fingerprint scanner as previously rumored.

Do bear in mind that the HTC One Max hardware specifications that you read here are meant for the model that is headed for China Mobile. So far, we do know that it will feature TD-LTE connectivity accompanied by a 5.9” Full HD display, a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor running proceedings from within, 2GB RAM and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connectivity.
Apart from that, it seems that a 2.1-megapixel shooter will be part of the package in front, with the back carrying an UltraPixel camera of unknown megapixel count. So far, it does seem to jive with what we already know about the HTC One Max, save for the fingerprint scanner bit that did not make an appearance on this leaked specifications list. Perhaps it was done on purpose, or it has been ditched for good.
We do hope to hear more from HTC concerning the HTC One Max, especially with IFA 2013 right around the corner.
