 LG Eclipse

A few days ago, we heard about a new superphone from LG called the "Eclipse." Today we've found out even more about this strong Samsung Galaxy S3 competitor.

According to BriefMobile, the new device will feature LTE. And most impressive are the phone's quad-core credentials. We're talking a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Krait processor, an Ardeno 320 graphics processor and 2GB of RAM. Other specs include:

  • 4.67-inch WXGA (1280x768) LCD TFT display
  • 16 GB internal memory
  • 13 MP camera 'round back
  • 1.3 MP camera up front

If the Galaxy S3 ends up not shipping with a quad-core processor in the States, this phone could end up being a strong competitor, along with other quad-core models like the Huawei Ascend D Quad and HTC One X. We'll keep you posted...
