Discussion always rages on the performance of a phone vs its efficiency, or the specs it provides relative to its price, but what about specs vs design? Do you value style over high-end specs, or would you happily use a phone that most people wouldn't be seen dead with if it offered superior performance? Tell us which is most important to you by voting in our design vs specs poll.

Consciously or unconsciously, design plays a part when we're choosing a new smartphone, and for some people, a phone's looks will be the deciding factor.

Naturally, specs come into consideration too, and some will find that top specs are the biggest selling points for a high-end phone, regardless of its appearance.

But which is more important to you, design or specs? Let us know in our weekend poll.

What is more important to you, design or specs?

Anything less than a 5.5" screen is a no go, but apart from screen size I care little for the design. Definitely needs decent specs though

A fast processor with a heavily altered OS can me slow, the MP count on the camera means nothing these days. So it's not specs as much how well it works which is a weird metric.

      Hi Dayle,
      Thanks for the comment.
The poll probably could have used an 'equally important' button :)

Isn't this the same as size verses specs. Design, Size what's next color? Of course in my book it is still specs all the way with removable battery and Micro SD support.

      Hi Mark,
Thank you for your input. Yes, you're right, they are quite similar, sorry about that :(
I'm in the specs camp too :)
