Samsung Galaxy S7 series launching in just three weeks

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 series of devices will be announced on Sunday, February 21, in Barcelona. The Korean manufacturer sent out invitations to its Galaxy Unpacked event, where it is expected to launch three new smartphones. The event occurs the day before the Mobile World Congress trade show in the same city.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy S series devices are typically unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC), which runs from February 22 to 25 this year, and was where the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge were announced last year.

Three Samsung phones are rumored to appear at this year's show – the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge and the Galaxy S7 Edge+ – as Samsung attempts to rise above increasing competition from Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi and Huawei.

AndroidPIT will be at the event to gather of all of the news as it happens. Until then, head over to our dedicated MWC 2016 page and let us know in the comments which of the three rumored devices you are most excited about.

i still waiting for my marshmallow update for my S5.i geuss the S5 is just a piece of junk not that the S7 is coming out.i might as well through it into a wall to watch it burst into pieces. so i can run out and spend 600-700$ on a new phone.

Welcome to Samsung. So much bloat they can't maintain the OS. If you want timely updates, Root and go with an AOSP or CM based ROM. You'll get your quick updates.

  • I have heard that, these series will arrive with Android 7.0, hopefully it will new phone content transfer app, like SmartIO App
