PlayStation 4 gamers who also own a Sony Xperia Z3 or Sony Xperia Z3 Compact are able to take advantage of PS4 Remote Play. This is a feature that makes it possible to play PS4 games on their Xperia Z3 phone. While Sony said that the feature would not be made available to other handsets, XDA Forum Member XperiaPlaystation came up with a way to bring the feature to any phone running Android.
Developer XperiaPlaystation started off by porting the feature to other Xperia devices, but then took it one step further – Sony PS4 Remote Play is now available to all devices running Android 4.0 and above. There are full instructions available over on XDA but it's fairly simple to get up and running.
You need to be running CWM (ClockWorkMod) Recovery and then flash the zip file provided. After wiping the cache and Dalvik cache, install the PlayStation app and you should be good to go. If you run into problems, check out the XDA forum thread for help.
Have you managed to get PS4 Remote Play working on your phone?
