Developers have every right to detest bugs of all sorts. Not only are they extremely gross, but they are also responsible for screwing with their programs and apps. To get rid of this plague once and for all, the developers have taken out their anger on these poor little insects with Splat!: Bugs II.
Is this game really as cruel as it sounds? Read on!

Features & Use
Splat!: Bugs II is a very simple game involving concentration and quick-thinking.
The aim is to kill all insects that crawl across your screen. The developers made an effort to include a wide variety of creepy crawlers: ants, bugs, horseflies, millipedes - you name it! You're playing against the clock and you only have a couple of seconds time to smash each insect. Another obstacle is the fact that there's no room for error. With every miss you screen takes a hit. Three misses and the game's over!
The higher the level, the faster the insects move about the screen.
This game isn't intended for two categories of people: those that love insects and find them totally cute as well as for those that find them so repulsive that they can't bare the thought of even seeing them.
For everybody else this game is actually a ton of fun! The game's simple but you've got to be able to concentrate and have quick reactions, especially in the higher levels.
Screen & Controls
Fingers are all you need to control Splat!: Bugs II. It feels like you’re actually squashing insects. Seem a bit too cruel? Well, you are killing bugs after all. The game includes realistic squashing sounds to add to the fun.
Every time your finger misses a bug, a crack appears on your screen. An alarm goes off after the second miss, which doesn’t stop until you make it to the next level.
The graphics are actually really simple, but effective. Simple images of insects moving back and forth give you the impression of them actually It’s hard for me to come up with a general rating on this because:
No game speed or crash problems on the G1
On the Hero, however, it stalled from time to time. At one point, the game force closed on me and crashed my phone completely. It was a one-time occurrence that never happened afterwards.
There’s one huge problem with the game’s controls: there is no pause button! How can I keep concentrated on the game if I can’t take a break from it? Moreover, there aren’t even any breaks between the different levels. You move onto the next level automatically without even noticing it. It may seem like a minor detail, but it definitely had a negative effect on my playing experience.
Speed & Stability

Splat!: Bugs II can be downloaded for free from the Android Market.
