Google Image Search Gets A Revamp For Android 2.1

If you have an Android 2.1 handset or an iPhone 3.0+, Google's Image Search just got a whole lot better with their latest update. AndroidCentral comments that "web-based image search now looks and feels almost like it's being done natively, on your Android phone."

Mashable reports that "New features include the inclusion of more thumbnails on a screen and the ability to swipe left or right to see the next or previous page of results (alternatively, you can tap the “Next” and “Previous” buttons). Images should now load more quickly and the image viewing page has a black background with buttons that fade out after a few seconds, which lets you see the images with fewer distractions."

Here is the video walkthrough on how to use the new update straight from Google. Sound off on how you like the update. Not everyone has an Android 2.1 device you know =)!
