The Sony Xperia Z1 is the successor to the Xperia Z and was presented in spring 2013. It was presented in September 2013 at the IFA and has, as its predecessor did, a 5-inch display. An outstanding feature of the Z1, however, is its high-resolution 20-megapixel "G Lens" camera. The housing is machined from glass, the frame of an aluminum alloy. Like the Xperia Z and Z Ultra, the Z1 is also resistant to water and dust. It has a Snapdragon 800 processor with 2.2 GHz clock speed and 2GB of RAM on board, 16GB of internal memory and is expandable via microSD.
