Will patent licensing agreements catch on (or will OEMs just keep suing each other)?

First Google settled a ten-year patent licensing deal with Samsung. Then Samsung signed a patent deal with Cisco.

Then Nokia and HTC agreed to license patents and settled their long-running legal disputes.

And Samsung and Apple have their patent settlement talks set to begin in a week or so...

But Motorola looks to be under fire from Intellectual Properties, the ''patent troll'' (they called themselves that).

So do you think patent litigation is set to disappear with more patent licensing deals between major OEMs, or will patent trolls like Intellectual Ventures continue to make a business out of suing manufacturers for patent infringement?
