heads-up notifications still show when message is muted

Hello there,

I'm having trouble with WhatsApp on my Samsung A7(2018)

I have muted some conversations but heads-up notifications still pop up lately.

Before muted messages did not show heads-up notifications

Can someone helm me please?

Just long Press on WhatsApp, A menu will appear -> Click App Info -> Turn Notification tab off

Yes, you just mute notifications, not block or deactivate notifications

I did not block or deactivated the notifications.
I just muted for 8hrs.
The sound is ok is mute but the notification still shows in heads-up notifications

Before if you mute is all mute
you have to go directly to WhatsApp app to check

Go to Settings - Apps & notifications, select WhatsApp,
Then disable notifications.
