LG has announced that there will be two additional handsets in its L Series making their debut at the IFA 2014 electronics fair in Berlin next month: the L Fino and L Bello. Both are mid-range devices when compared to the current flagship, the LG G3, but both devices have a precise market in mind: teenagers and first-time smartphone owners in emerging 3G markets.

The LG L Fino is a 4.5-inch device with 4 GB of on board storage and the L Fino is a 5-incher with 8 GB of internal storage. Both will feature an 8 MP shooter. How teenagers will respond to limited storage and a low-res camera I'm not quite sure, but the camera is admittedly better than most other devices in the same class and both should be expandable via microSD.

Both will be running Android 4.4.2 and include many of LG's excellent software features we are already familiar with in the new-look Optimus UI, like Knock Code, Quick Circle compatibility and the funky rear-key setup we've come to love which provides shortcuts to the QMemo+ note taking app and the camera. If you're in the market for a G3 lookalike at a much lower price tag, then you might want to check these out.
The L Fino and L Bello will begin shipping in Latin America, with Europe, Asia and CIS to follow.
What do you think of these new L Series phones? Do they have the right mix of style, features and price for you?
