The Galaxy S3 Mini with its 4-inch display is significantly smaller than the regular S3. The built-in hardware is also a step down from the then-current Samsung flagship: with a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM and a 5 MP camera, it couldn’t keep up with the iPhone 5 which it was meant to compete with at the end of 2012. Storage can be expanded via microSD up to 32 GB and it comes with 8 and 16 GB memory capacities right off the shelf. Overall, the Galaxy S3 Mini is a device for users with smaller hands or those who can live with inferior technical data. Despite this fact, the price was still quite high, which is typically Samsung.
