I've done some Google searches and can't seem to find a screen capture app for a non-rooted Droid 2. Any ideas?

I faced the same problem. If you don't root your phone, the options for screen capture are really limited.

Basically, the only way to get a screenshot with an non-rooted device is to use the Android SDK from your computer.

First, you have to download the Android SDK: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

Then open android sdk folder, go to tools folder and open ddms.bat (Dalvik Debug Monitor)

Connect your phone to the computer and your device should show up under the Device menu option. Click refresh to take a screenshot.

If you are looking for a way to take screenshots with your phone, all the screen capture apps I know require a rooted phone.

Personally, I use PicMe and ShootMe on my rooted HTC Hero.

Thanks....that's pretty much what I found while Googling, but thought I'd take a chance that there would be a workaround besides hooking up to the computer. I don't know enough about these phones to risk rooting it.
