Samsung Galaxy Note 2 — Turning off Galaxy Note II

Hello,
I switch off my mobile, Galaxy Note II everyday for 6 - 7 hrs, so, does it harm the device in any way?
Also, what is the prescribed percentage, from which I should charge my mobile?

No, that won't have any effect as far as I know.

Android recommends charging your battery at 20%, but I often wait until it reaches 10% or so.
