NEW 5.1.1 Update Samsung Galaxy S5

If you have not received your new update try doing this.
I just did and it actually worked, if it didn't work i was ready to switch phones. I hope it helps.

It is very simple:

  1. TURN AIRPLANE MODE ON

    1. Go to MANAGE APPS Under All click on GOOGLE SERVICES FRAMEWORK THEN
      CLEAR DATA

    2. Go back to System setting and click on ABOUT DEVICE

  2. CLICK on SOFTWARE UPDATES and it will pop up.

    It might take a few minutes until the update will show.

If that doesn't work turn airplane mode off after step 3 then try update.

Wont work for Sprint S5. it already has lastest update. but still says 5.0 NOT 5.1.1

Oh sorry, I forgot to list first step : I thought I did.

First turn airplane mode on then follow the steps. going to edit it. Hope that works

Doesn't work on U.S. Cellular either. Same results as Chad_Higgins.
