I have followed the online tutorials in adding admob into one of my apps. I have solved all the issues and my app builds and runs but there are no ads. When I look through the logs for clues and I saw an entry saying it cannot connect to play services possibly due to a missing Json file in the root. This apparently has to be generated for you but when I go to the developer site I only have 3 options for Google sign in, adsense and cloud services but apparently I should select admob. Has something changed that wasn't updated to the tutorial.
