Signed into Whatsapp on the wrong phone and now everything seems jumbled

Hi,

As I was facing some phone trouble, it was at the shop for repair.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to check my Whatsapp messages from my wife's phone, i executed the 'Change Number' option and changed it to my number and authenticated it using the Pin I received.

Immediately, i received the messages that i had received on my number.
Now that I had checked my messages, i executed the 'Change Number ' Option again, to revert to the my wifes earlier number.

This time it did not require any OTP authentication. Now, my Whatsapp contacts and groups have remained on her phone, and it now shows that i have changed my number to that of hers.

How do I go back to my contact info for my Groups and contacts, while not affecting hers as well.
