Samsung S3 will not roam

I have a U.K. Galaxy S3 at present in Spain having problems with roaming.
Gone through, SETTINGS, MORE NETWORKS, MOBILE NETWORKS, turned off MOBILE DATA selected NETWORK OPERATORS, SEARCH, LIST OF AVAILABLE NETWORKS selected, SELECT AUTOMATICALLY, phone states, REGISTERED ON NETWORK. Turned MOBILE DATA back on Tried ringing out get recorded message saying cannot phone out on this number.
Any help would be appreciated.

It is just possible that this device does not support the roaming frequencies that you are trying to use it on.
The S3 does not support many freq in the world from model to model check your models specs for supported frequencies and then compare them to the carrier you are trying to roam on...
