Hi,
I did my WhatsApp backup correctly in 2018 over Android 5.0.2 (Lenovo A 7000 mobile). Now I have changed my mobile (Samsung A 20, Android 9.0 (Pie)) and using a new phone number also.
Can I restore my '2018 Whatsapp back' to my Samsung A 20 mobile?
OR
If I buy the same old phone set (Lenovo A7000) then can I restore my '2018 Whatsapp backup' using a new number here in this set (Lenovo A7000)?
Your advice will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

I think that you will have to change the phone number in your WhatsApp account to your new one on that old device. Is this impossible now? :(

Download size < 0.15 MB. But also accurate enough, ad-free & free.

As long as you use the same google account, it is possible to change the phone number.

Register the same Google account on the A20, and try restoring a backup from the account, even using the new number.

Isn't possible, sorry but it seems you can't restore it now.
