Now That Android 4.3 is here officially when is Key Lime Pie Coming?

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was recently unveiled by Google as the latest update to the Android platform but this version of Android leaked weeks ago and what probably has people talking more is when the long awaited Key Lime Pie version of the platform is going to drop.

Since Jelly Bean 4.3 has just dropped now officially, I think it would be safe to assume that we would have to wait a few months to finally get Key Lime Pie in our phones. The new software is probably going to come in the final quarter of 2013, if not in 2014. Hopefully though it comes with the Nexus 5 which is probably going to come soon after rival phones from Apple and Samsung also come out.

Personally I'm hoping that Key Lime Pie comes out when the new Nexus does because that's the phone I'll be looking to upgrade too since it is probably going to come in at a very attractive price like its predecessor, the highly successful Nexus 4.

When do you think that Key Lime Pie will be coming out and have you tried Android 4.3? What do you like about it and what don't you. Vote in our survery below or leave a comment.

  • I would have to say, besides the security issue that Sim Sim mention .... I believe Android OS Version 5.0 (code name Key Lime Pie) will be unleashed once there are Android Smart Phones and Tablets available to market the new Software in 2014 (ie a Nexus5 smart phone, a Nexus8 tablet) ... and this version of Android OS needs to have the right "oomph" that most of US have been waiting for :-)

    Can't wait!

  • As of late, Bluebox Security ran across a “Master Key” impairment, which connotes that 99% of apparatuses defenseless (900 million) could be hacked. A patch took off nowadays; it is an additional critical sign that Google must perform progressively to determine its units are more secure.
