Language used in Android Application.

Hi Mark, the standard language for developing with android is Java. Though, there is the possibility to use java's JNI to connect to native code, such as C. There are also OpenGL api's in the android sdk, that allow for doing graphics with OpenGL. Most people use the Eclipse ide to develop with, its a very good and free IDE.
