Looking for a phonebook app

Hello, I am new to the android market and am looking for a phonebook app that I can have my contacts displayed with last name first. Any info is helpful. thanks in advance.

I believe that is possible to do without use of a special app. When you are in your contacts and looking at your list, hit menu and look through the menus to see if there is a setting you can switch to have contacts displayed with last name first.

I tried that and unfortunately am unable to figure a way to do that. unless I'm not droid x literate.

I just did that with android 2.2. You must be looking at contacts. ( not favorites) Then menu, display options, then sort by last name.
