Motorola XT720 vs motorola milestone XT720

Okay, so this is my first post on AndroidPIT and I might come off as a HUGE noob. But, is there any real difference between the two? Because I wanted to get software modifications and I see a lot of them are for the Motorola Milestone XT720, but I have the plain Motorola XT720. Is the difference of the two enough that it might not be compatible ?

To be honest: I doubt that there is any difference at all.

Do you live in Canada? Anyways, they look to be exactly the same according to the spec page from Motorola. The radio bands, which were my main suspicion, seem to be the same. I believe the Milestone name is usually tacked on for when Motorola markets some of their phones internationally (like in Europe or other continents)
