I have a HTC thunderbolt which had Android 2.2 when i bought it. Just a week back my service provider Verizon (forcibly) pushed Android 2.3.4 and i had to install it. After that i noticed an annoying problem with the 'screen unlock' sound settings. I couldn't disable it for some reason.. the settings page shows it unchecked but .. the sound plays all the time when i unlock.. Especially with 'thunder storm' sound i couldn't unlock my phone during boring meetings..you know 
..everyone woke up and caught me red handed.. I'm wondering if it is a 2.3.4 generic problem or happens only in thunderbolt.
Have you face this problem ? If so i'll file a bug report with some confidence..
